NOTABLES:

This is a nearly turn-key Jet/Vac Truck;

It starts, runs (runs very good), drives good and stops good.

Caterpillar Engine runs very strong.

The A/C in the cab is very cold.

Cab & Chassis are in great shape.

The front tires are fairly new.

There is one major issue with this unit - see known issues listed below.

This is a working Unit and the using Department has borrowed it back several times since removal from service.

 MAJOR ISSUE:

The Debris Tank has imploded. It has sucked in. Operators of these trucks know that the "Achilles Heel" on these Units is the Debris Tank. They scale rust like crazy. They are exposed to any and all types of attack from the inside. The metal gets thin and the trouble starts.

The Vacuum System works good enough to suck in this tank.

The Vacuum System still works fine, it's just that the Tank distorted enough to loose its seal with the rear door.

All other systems work as well.

MINOR KNOWN ISSUES:

Right rear water tank is caved in a bit (look at the pictures), but it has been repaired and does not leak at this time.

The front hose reel "Push-Out" hydraulic cylinder is leaking (look at the pictures, the amount of fluid shown is from the hydraulic system being engaged for appropriately 30 minutes)

Right front Fenderette on the hood is missing.

That's it...that's all the issues, granted the Debris Tank is a major issue but if you are into these trucks you have access to one.

This Truck was scheduled for replacement in the next few years, the Debris Tank implosion moved it up.

Jet/Vac Trucks this complete.....this functional.....are pretty rare.
